1. What Alpha Is

Alpha (“we”, “us”, “the platform”) is a software-as-a-service platform that helps local businesses become discoverable and bookable by AI consumer agents. When you sign up, we create an AI-powered agent that represents your business on the Alpha network. Consumer AI assistants (such as Wonder) can discover your agent, hold conversations with it on behalf of their users, and create bookings.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business you register. By creating an account, you represent that the business information you provide is accurate.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including the actions of your AI agent. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

4. How Your AI Agent Works

Your AI agent is powered by Anthropic's Claude language model. We build a system prompt from the business data you provide (services, hours, FAQ, contact information, brand voice). When a consumer AI assistant sends a request, Claude generates responses on your behalf. You should understand that:

  • AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming bookings.
  • We do not guarantee that the agent will always be available. Claude API outages or rate limits may temporarily prevent your agent from responding.
  • Your business data (name, services, hours, FAQ, contact info) is shared with consumer AI agents during conversations. This is the core function of the service.

5. Bookings

Bookings created through your AI agent are marked as “pending” until you confirm them via the dashboard, email link, or API. You are responsible for honoring confirmed bookings. We are not a party to the transaction between you and your customers.

6. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. To upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan, contact us by email. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partial months. If your plan's interaction limit is reached, your agent will stop responding to new requests until the next cycle.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading business information
  • Use the platform for illegal activities or to offer illegal services
  • Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or reverse-engineer the AI agent or the A2A protocol
  • Inject prompt instructions into business data fields to alter agent behavior beyond your legitimate business information

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your business data. We retain ownership of the Alpha platform, including the agent infrastructure, dashboard, and A2A protocol implementation. AI-generated responses are not owned by either party.

9. Limitation of Liability

Alpha is provided “as is.” We are not liable for lost revenue, missed bookings, inaccurate AI responses, or any damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may request account deletion at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your agent is removed from the network and your business data is deleted upon request.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or dashboard notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
